For our canine connoisseurs we offer freshly cooked chicken mince with vegetables to which we add a preservative-free kibble to provide a balanced diet. We also include tinned fish on a regular basis.
We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements.
Accommodation
For dogs we provide roomy indoor accommodation in fully insulated buildings with calming classical music (only the best of Baroque). We have plenty of outdoor runs and all dogs get plenty of opportunity to exercise or just laze about outside. Where appropriate we provide a buddy for companionship during the day. Dogs are matched according to size, age and temperament to ensure a good time is had by all.
Alternatively, those who prefer their own company can have their own space.
All animals are fed separately and housed separately overnight. We have a number of double and triple kennels so that pets from the same family can be housed together if the owner so wishes.
The Elderly
Life at Woodcroft is very relaxing if you’re getting on in years.
Elderly dogs are welcome in their own kennel area – called ‘The Lodge’ – which offers very comfortable accommodation with low cushions, easy access (no high steps) and whatever special diets are required.
Elderly cats have ground-floor accommodation, access to garden areas, lots of places to lay in the sun and watch the world go by, plus optional electric warming blankets when it gets a bit chilly.
For pets over 10 years of age we complete a health status form with details on eyesight, hearing and mobility etc to which we can refer as necessary.
